What you will be doing:

• Develop, support, and implement In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional In-Circuit Test (FICT).
• Support and implement customer-supplied test systems.
• Write software to exercise units under functional test or in-circuit test and program firmware into ICs.
• Write software to store and retrieve test results.
• Develop and release test instructions.
• Validate tester hardware and software functions before releasing to manufacturing.
• Perform quality assurance on tester hardware and software.
• Coordinate with the customer engineering group during the quoting process.
• Use precision test equipment to test and troubleshoot boards.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Prepare failure analysis reports for customers.
• Report any major production errors affecting product quality.

Responsibility

Experience you will need:

• BS/BA in Engineering or AS/AA in Engineering Technology with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive test and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer hardware.
• Experience in coding software using Windows or other operating systems, SQL, Visual Basic, C, .Net, Labview or other software languages.
• Ability to use various test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical CAD systems used for designing and producing printed circuit boards (preferred).
• Experience in electronic manufacturing (preferred).

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or AS/AA in Engineering Technology with 5+ years of relevant experience.
